Aesthetic Procedural Dermatology

We offer our patients the following aesthetic services and products:

CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peels are used to enhance the appearance and function of the skin in several ways. We use different chemical agents to achieve the outcomes desired for each individual. Using either a concentrated formulation of glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or trichloroacetic acid, and at times in combination, we can improve the appearance of fine lines, pigmentation, redness, and textural changes that occur with aging and sun exposure, as well as improve acne that is difficult to treat with alternative approaches.

BOTOX

Botox is a prescription medicine injected into the facial muscles to improve the look of moderate-to-severe frown lines, including between the eyebrows, on the forehead and around the eyes. In this non-surgical treatment, one of MDS’ dermatologists injects the Botox which blocks nerve impulses to that area. This relaxes the muscles and helps eliminate frown lines. SOFT TISSUE SCULPTURE

Soft tissue sculpture is a smooth gel filler that helps diminish wrinkles and combat the loss of volume that occurs with aging. It can be used for multiple areas such as around the mouth, chin, nose, cheeks or temples. In this non-surgical treatment, an MDS dermatologist injects the filler, which restores volume to areas that have lost structure over time causing wrinkles and folds.
